Bonita stands for fashion in the current strong combination style, which is sold via the branch network across Europe in shop-in-shop areas and online. In April 2017, the newly developed store-in-store concept of the 3F Design Architect office in Cologne began in several locations. Hoffmann Ladenbau realised the stores turnkey.
Hoffmann Ladenbau was taken on board as the implementation partner and was able to bring its expertise as a general contractor fully into play here. For thanks to the turnkey completion, all three branches (two in Berlin (Kaufpark Eiche and Das Schloss) and one in Bludenz in Austria (Zimba-Park) were able to open promptly.
The new retail store concept was adapted to the requirements of current retail areas. An integrated design with high-quality materials and simple shapes reflects the elegant brand essence. Warm oak combined with black steel and brushed stainless steel underlines the sense of quality, and the subtle contrast of the materials selected also sets off the products ideally. Besides the clear layout of the wall displays, shoe platforms support the zoning of the rear panel. Optimised hanger heights, spaciously designed changing cabins and a flexible shop window presentation target the requirements of customers and are easy for the sales staff to access.
This was the timespan that Hoffmann Ladenbau required from the first production drawing to the finalisation of the retail stores. In coordination with the client, the team of architects and the centre management, all stages of construction required were completed just in time. A particular challenge was the wall installation of the free-floating garment rails. As Stefan Winking reports, “the strain at the front of the rails from the loaded clothes hangers was huge. By developing a special plug-in installation, which was anchored in at the dry build phase, we were able to achieve a stable base.”
