Since the start of October 2022, avid shoppers, knitwear connoisseurs and urban explorers have been able to find Austria’s first Iris von Arnim store on the Neuer Markt in the heart of Vienna. Following on from Hoffmann Interior’s successful implementation of three custom-created shop interiors for the fashion company in Germany, Iris von Arnim once again trusted in the general contractor’s skills for its latest new opening.

As a specialist in luxury fashion items, it was particularly important to the clothing company that the interior was of equally high quality so customers quickly feel at ease and are drawn to stay a while. Hoffmann Interior implemented the design created by Hamburg-based architectural firm Henrike Schäfer Interior in the approx. 100 m² premises. As general contractor, Hoffmann Interior completed the dry construction, electrical, heating and air conditioning, decorating, flooring and entire interior design work within just three months. Today, a limed oak checkout counter and limed oak cupboards therefore create welcoming warmth. The latest fashion pieces are displayed on filigree wall fixings bearing veined natural travertine. Vintage-look mirrors make the space seem even bigger. Those waiting outside the changing rooms can enjoy the comfort of plush armchairs while customers trying on their future favourite piece of apparel can admire their new look in floor-to-ceiling mirror walls.

The timeless interior is complemented by high-quality oak parquet flooring – a recurring feature in Iris von Arnim boutiques, also found in the Hamburg showroom. In addition to combining multiple highly exclusive materials, the project uniquely involved Hoffmann Interior completely gutting the premises prior to the actual construction phase. Carefully conceived planning, the pooling of multiple skills and precise execution nevertheless resulted in quick and successful project implementation by Hoffmann Interior.
