Shop-in-shops: All over Germany

The devices are presented on a platform that can be placed free-standing in the sales area, or which can be combined with a rear panel and side modules. This has a signalling effect: With the interplay of red and white CI colours complemented by stainless steel décor and indirect LED lighting from below, the Miele shop-in-shop stands out clearly from those of its competitors. The push-together system allows convenient changing of logos, lettering and advertising slides and it can therefore always be kept completely up to date. Maintaining consistent colours for the logos, visuals and accent lighting proved to be a particular challenge. Thorough value engineering measures such as series of tests and supplier selection were able to ensure this was the case for all furniture modules.

Besides the production of modules, Hoffmann Ladenbau (shop fitting) also supports Miele in planning the layout of shop areas. Project manager Stefan Winking talks about his day to day work: "After the Miele field service has given us information about the on-site measurements as well as the products that are to be presented there, we plan the optimum room area layout in the AutoCAD system. Following approval from Miele we can go straight into setting it up.”

When they arrive, there are two assembly options: On the one hand, the modules can be conveniently put together by the Hoffmann installation team. This is the preferred choice, even if special solutions such as pillars and panelling have to be put in place on-site. Alternatively, however, self-assembly is also possible, since installation instructions are available for all furniture components.
