Bogner

Six fashion stores in the DACH region

Thanks to Hoffmann Interior, the company BOGNER has been able to (re-)open a total of six outdoor clothing stores up until now. Most recently, the stores in Landquart, Salzburg, Zürich and St. Moritz shone in a new, unique splendour. True to the style of winter sports and outdoor clothing on sale, the interior design reflects the quality and robustness of the items.

Fittings such as the floor, tables and shelves are made of solid wood. This creates an unmistakable naturalness in the stores, which ensures a cosy atmosphere. The warm elements are combined with metal ceiling lamps, display shelves and bars. This contrast creates a modern chalet character with an industrial Alpine style, which BOGNER requested at the beginning of the projects. Hoffmann Interior applied an elaborate treatment to all the material surfaces to achieve a particularly high-quality look. For example, wooden surfaces were sandblasted or sprayed with a special metal coating and metal surfaces were stained.

Hoffmann Interior, however, was not only responsible for the furniture making during the cooperation with BOGNER, but also for the entire project coordination – from the wall processing and electrical work to the completion of the shops. The particular feature during the last four (re-)builds was that the project periods overlapped. Nevertheless, the general contractor managed to redesign a total area of more than 1,000 square metres on time – and in less than five months.

BOGNER has already been commissioning Hoffmann Interior since 2019. Before the four new (re-)builds, the general contractor did work for a store on Sylt and a shop in Hamburg. The first joint project in Hamburg is detailed here as an additional reference:

Working seamlessly together, the refurbishment of the BOGNER store in the Rathausmarkt central square in Hamburg was realised over a period of one month by various parties. The team at Hoffmann Interior took over the coordination of the trades for the wall construction and electrical work that had to be carried out. The company also took on the production and assembly of smaller pedestals and slatted constructions for the ceiling.

The staggered slatted frames elegantly incorporate the Zumtobel lighting and connect the rustic wooden look with the bright wall and ceiling design on the lower floor. The modern overall appearance offers a perfect stage for the presentation of the outdoor and sports clothing on display.

Thanks to the excellent timing, the measures on the ground floor were completed as planned so that Bogner could already start selling here in mid-August. A continuous concrete wall connecting both floors became the biggest job during the project: Extensive plastering work created hurdles here in terms of time and organisation.

Site manager Denis Wilde was always a competent contact person, making quick decisions on site and offering reliable solutions. In order to minimise the burden caused by the refurbishment work, the company specifically addressed the wishes and needs of the store's employees. Even in the stressful phases, everyone involved impressed with their utmost professionalism and friendly manner.
