From young to old: KIND Hörgeräte GmbH & Co. KG’s new store concept has been designed to appeal to hearing aid and optometry customers of all ages. Carefully selected designs and colours create an inviting look with modern accents and a clear structure, which highlights both the quality of the store services and the products on offer. To smoothly implement the design, KIND sought a reliable partner to act as general contractor – one with good experience of both shopfitting and the requirements to be met by attractive working environments. As a professional for interior fittings of all kinds, Hoffmann Interior was the first choice. In addition to producing and installing the fittings and furnishings, the Hoffmann Interior team also took care of the timely organisation of all trades – right through to the turn-key handover.

With a sophisticated colour and material concept, the finished interior design creates a clear ambience in which customers can easily orient themselves. The eye for detail is evident the second you look in through the window: grey-brown shelves made of powder-coated aluminium shift the focus to the products presented on them. On entering the shop floor, customers are met by the subtle contrasts created by white and light grey surfaces. Harmonious oak parquet blends seamlessly into the concept, underpinning the clear style. The offices, on the other hand, have vinyl floors, while the customer waiting area features a blue, patterned carpet. The diverse furnishings were also adapted to the various areas by means of different coloured finishes: the presentation walls, display cases and consultation tables all draw visitors’ attention in a radiant pure white. The areas used exclusively by the staff are characterised by more discreet, light grey fittings and furnishings.

The first sites to have been completed include stores in Stuttgart, Braunschweig, Bad Salzuflen and Weimar. With impressive areas spanning from 240 to 350 m² and a tight time frame, the precise planning and careful coordination of all the necessary work were essential. The client KIND was impressed with the smooth communication and extensive services offered by Hoffmann Interior. Ten to 15 more new stores of various sizes are planned for the next two years.
