Dr. Hieber Dental Practice
Dental practice in Stuttgart
A clean yet inviting design has been radiated by the Dr. Hieber dental practice ever since it reopened in November 2020. It was particularly important to the client that the premises were completed in time for the opening and in line with all requirements. He therefore commissioned Hoffman Interior with the work. In as little as around two months, the company produced all the furniture and installed it on site. As such, the practice team can now work with maximum efficiency while patients feel comfortable and well cared for in the around 270 m² site.
As furnishing a dental practice is not only about creating a modern atmosphere but also about complying with specific hygiene standards, Hoffman Interior’s expertise and skills were required: the company fitted drawer and door fronts with seals that keep dust and dirt away from treatment tools once they are closed. ABS edges stop the practice team’s clothing or gloves from snagging on corners and prevent injury to the team while working. Hoffman Interior also positioned the wall cabinets in line with precise specifications so that utensils like gloves and soap dispensers can be stored in specific places.
Today, it is not just Dr. Hieber and his team who feel comfortable in the premises, patients are also enveloped in an inviting atmosphere from the reception area through to the treatment rooms. Matt, black and white surfaces create a hygienic, neat and tidy yet soft look. Design accents in gold tones as well as features made from oak create additional warmth on the counter, in the cloakroom, in bathrooms and in treatment rooms. Rounded shapes, soft pastels shades and indirect lighting invite patients to relax – the Dr. Hieber dental practice finds this an all-round successful concept.
Hoffmann Interior implemented the furnishings on the basis of the design and execution plan developed by the architectural firm 12:43 Architekten. The partnership was a complete success and a further dental practice was so impressed by the results that it commissioned Hoffman Interior to assist it with its own reopening. During this follow-on project, the general contractor was used as such from the outset. Even while the building was still a shell and the infrastructure outside the building was still under construction, all services throughout the process came from a single source.
